Mildura Jazz, Food & Wine Festival 2-5 November 2007 With its unique blend of wineries and rugged Mallee landscapes, Mildura is always an enticing destination, but it will be simply irresistible this November when the city comes alive with jazz in the streets, the wineries, by the river and on the paddleboats. Visitors and locals will savour the flavours of the world class local produce and wines on offer. The Mildura Jazz, Food & Wine Festival 2007 will present a wonderful combination of contemporary and traditional jazz in our magnificent Mildura surrounds. The Festival is very excited to present the international jazz diva Catherine Lambert and her quartet. Catherine is very well known from her appearances in the highly successful films Lost In Translation (Bill Murray, Scarlet Johansson, Sophia Coppola) and Peaches (Hugo Weaving, Jacqueline McKenzie) and has also appeared at some of Australia’s leading jazz festivals and venues including ‘the Basement’ and the Sydney Opera House.
